Amy: fsck & Server Migration
#1
I wanted to provide an update for customers on Amy server.

Techs are currently running fsck or file system consistency check due to an issue with the system. Due to Amy being the oldest server in service it has a lot of data so fsck is taking longer then it would with most of our servers.

We have reviewed the service record for Amy and while is has had a overall good service record, the last 11 month it's faced this issue 5 times. It has been decided that once the server is back online we will perform a server migration to new hardware.

We will update here as more details are known.

Transfer of accounts to the new server is about 60% complete.

Once all accounts have been successfully moved we'll update the DNS to reflect the new server.

The DNS has been updated to reflect the new server. Please note that depending on how fast your ISP updates you might still see your website on the old server. On average it can take a few hours to 72 hours to fully see the new server.
